ROBLOX CORP -CLASS A cut its 2026 bookings forecast by $950M on late Thursday afternoon. The revision follows new safety features designed to limit interactions between younger and older users on the platform. Investors are weighing whether safety-driven engagement declines will permanently erode the platform's long-term growth and app store rankings.
Roblox expects fiscal 2026 bookings between $7.33B and $7.6B, down from its earlier projection of $8.28B to $8.55B. Second-quarter bookings are forecast at $1.55B to $1.61B, falling below LSEG estimates of $1.83B.
