India plans to extend its export incentive programme for five years beyond the scheduled September 30 expiration, a government trade source said on Wednesday. The extension keeps the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Export Products scheme active for exporters through the end of the decade. The continuation protects tariff refunds that support local manufacturers competing in global markets.
