Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced on Thursday that the Druzhba oil pipeline, which was severely damaged by a strike from Russia in January, could be technically ready for operation within a month and a half. The pipeline is a vital energy link for Hungary and Slovakia, both of which have maintained exemptions from European Union sanctions on Russian crude due to the complexity of sourcing alternative supplies.
