Vietnam Grants License to SpaceX Starlink for Satellite Internet Services

Vietnam has licensed SpaceX to offer Starlink satellite internet services nationwide. The move comes ahead of a planned diplomatic visit to the United States.

Vietnam VNVN's Ministry of Science and Technology has officially granted SpaceX's local Starlink unit the licenses required to provide satellite internet services within the country. As of today, February 14, 2026, the regulatory process is completed, authorizing the company to offer both fixed and mobile satellite internet services. This decision also includes a specific license for the use of radio frequencies and radio equipment, which enables Starlink to operate commercially within the country.
