Starlink Seeks Indian Satellite Approval Again
Elon Musks Starlink has submitted a fresh application to Indian regulators for satellite network approval. The move includes plans for direct-to-device connectivity services across the country.
Starlink reapplied to India's space regulator on Thursday morning to deploy its satellite constellation and direct-to-device connectivity services. The filing follows previous regulatory delays in one of the world's fastest-growing telecom markets. Securing operational clearance will allow the satellite internet provider to compete directly with domestic telecom giants for broadband subscribers.
