Russian Drone Strikes Hit Kyiv Infrastructure
Russian drone strikes hit Kyiv infrastructure and fuel stations, killing two people and injuring 45. Meanwhile, President Zelenskiy warned the UN General Assembly of a hard winter.
Russia pounded Ukraine's capital with drone strikes on Wednesday, killing two people and injuring 45 others in one of the heaviest bombardments of the city. The assault targeted railway infrastructure, warehouses, and fuel stations across Kyiv from morning into the evening. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy warned the UN General Assembly that a hard winter lay ahead for the country.
The strikes involved jet-powered drones that are harder to intercept, hitting a nine-storey non-residential building, a business centre, and multiple petrol stations. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that two of the injured victims were in serious condition.
