Puma Forecasts 2026 Operating Loss of Up to 150 Million Euros
Puma expects a 2026 operating loss of up to 150 million euros. This follows a 2025 loss of 357.2 million euros, which was narrower than analyst expectations.
The sportswear manufacturer PUMA Se, headquartered in Germany, has announced its financial guidance for the 2026 fiscal year. The company projects an operating loss ranging from 50 million to 150 million euros ($59 million to $177 million). This outlook comes as the brand continues to navigate a challenging market environment following its recent annual performance. In its report for the 2025 fiscal year, the company recorded an operating loss before interest and tax of 357.2 million euros ($422.14 million). While the figure reflects a downturn compared to the 548.7 million euro profit achieved a year earlier, it was notably better than the 374.3 million euro loss that analysts had previously estimated in a poll provided by the firm. The narrowing of the expected loss suggests a slight improvement in the company's trajectory as it moves into 2026, though the anticipated continued losses highlight ongoing pressure on the sportswear sector. The current valuations are based on an exchange rate of approximately 0.8462 euros per dollar.
