Lamborghini Stops Middle East Sales and Deliveries
CEO Stephan Winkelmann reports that regional conflict has blocked shipments and closed showrooms. The company risks losing its peak Gulf selling season.
The luxury automotive sector is facing a significant disruption as Italy-based manufacturer Lamborghini reports a total standstill in its operations across the Middle East. Ongoing regional conflict has forced the closure of multiple dealerships and completely blocked the shipment of high-end vehicles to key markets.
Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of the brand owned by VOLKSWAGEN AG, highlighted the severity of the situation during a company event at Milan Fashion Week. He noted that the manufacturer is currently unable to deliver cars to the United Arab Emirates and Oman, while Saudi Arabia has experienced slightly less impact.
