Italy proposed Lorenzo Mariani as the new CEO of Leonardo today. Rome also confirmed reappointing Claudio Descalzi at Eni and Flavio Cattaneo at Enel.

The government of Italy has moved to restructure the leadership of its most prominent state-controlled industrial groups. According to a statement released by the Treasury on Thursday, the administration has proposed the appointment of Lorenzo Mariani as the new chief executive officer of the defense and aerospace conglomerate LEONARDO SPA.
