In the currency markets, the EUR/USD pair held onto recent gains, trading at approximately $1.1591. Simultaneously, the USD/JPY was positioned at 158.68, keeping traders alert for potential government intervention as the yen approaches the 160 level. Energy prices have begun to stabilize, with Brent crude falling to settle at $101.16 per barrel.
