The S&P 500 gained 28.0 points, or 0.43%, to reach 6,556.56, while the Nasdaq Composite, which tracks many listings on NASDAQ INC, climbed 152.2 points, or 0.70%, to 21,742.795. This positive start follows the largest single-day percentage increase for the indexes in nearly a year, as geopolitical hopes continue to support Wall Street performance.
