Battery-electric vehicle registrations across Europe rose 54.2% in August, pushing the market ahead of forecasts as fully electric cars captured a 30.5% share. Registrations across 16 key markets reached 202,833 vehicles during the late summer month, according to data from E-Mobility Europe, New Automotive and Fier Automotive. The figures put the region's adoption rate well above earlier industry projections.
