Tesla registrations surge in Europe during May
Tesla reported a significant increase in vehicle registrations across several European markets in May, including a 655 percent jump in France and gains in Norway and Spain. The growth comes as the electric vehicle maker regains momentum despite rising competition and previous market share losses.
TESLA INC saw registrations surge 655% in France and 29% in Norway during May as European sales recovered. The gains across six markets offset a 23.5% decline in Italy. Tesla lost nearly half its regional market share in 2025 amid growing competition from China and domestic brands.
Data from PFA and OFV on Monday showed Tesla delivered 5,446 vehicles in France and 3,345 in Norway. Smaller markets also posted triple-digit growth, including a 136% rise in Denmark to 1,750 units.
