The European Union should reconsider its plans to progressively ban imports of Natural Gas from Russia by 2027, according to Claudio Descalzi, the CEO of ENI SPA. Speaking at an event in Italy organized by the co-ruling League party on Sunday, the executive expressed concerns over the feasibility of replacing the 20 billion cubic metres of gas currently sourced from Russian suppliers, which he described as vital for power station flexibility.
