EBRD Maintains High Ukraine Funding
The EBRD plans to lend 2.7 billion euros to Ukraine this year to support energy protection and private sector resilience amid ongoing attacks. Most of the funding will target private businesses, while the bank trims its growth forecast to 1.5 percent.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will maintain lending to Ukraine near record levels at €2.7B this year, despite an escalating campaign of Russian air strikes. The deployment follows a record €2.9B in 2025, with over 80% directed toward private-sector investment and working capital. The ongoing financial support aims to bolster vital energy and transport infrastructure against continued attacks from Russia while sustaining economic resilience.
