DBS Paid CEO Tan Shu Shan 7.5 Million Dollars in 2025
DBS Group paid CEO Tan Shu Shan 7.5 million dollars for 2025. The total includes her time as deputy and chief executive during the bank's transition period.
Singapore's largest financial institution, DBS GROUP HOLDINGS LTD, has disclosed the compensation for Chief Executive Officer Tan Shu Shan in its latest annual report. Tan received a total remuneration package of S$9.64 million ($7.5 million) for the 2025 period, a year that saw her transition from deputy CEO to the top executive role.
The total pay includes a base salary of S$975,250, a cash bonus of S$3.69 million, and a deferred award valued at S$4.92 million. Additional benefits for the year totaled S$68,694. Tan’s package covers her service as CEO starting March 28, 2025, as well as her role as deputy CEO from the beginning of that year.

By comparison, her predecessor Piyush Gupta earned S$17.6 million in 2024, his final full year leading the bank. That year, the institution reported a record annual net profit. The financial figures released on Monday were calculated using an exchange rate of 1.2793 Singapore dollars to one U.S. dollar.
