DBS GROUP HOLDINGS LTD posted a 1% rise in Q1 net profit to S$2.93B, beating analyst estimates of S$2.83B. The result prompted the lender to upgrade its 2026 outlook toward 2025 levels despite ongoing conflict in Iran. Record wealth management fees of S$907M are shielding Southeast Asia's largest bank from Middle East market volatility.
Shares of the Singapore lender climbed 4.3% on Thursday morning, reaching their highest level since February. The stock outperformed the benchmark index, which rose 0.75% during the same period.
