BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE AG lowered its 2026 automotive EBIT margin outlook to a range of negative 0.5% to positive 0.5% on Tuesday, down from 1-3%. The German automaker is accelerating job cuts and restructuring amid slowing demand in China. The downgrade follows similar profit cuts across Germany's auto sector as domestic rivals struggle with Asian market headwinds.
