Vietnam state utility EVN secures $1.13 billion loan for Quang Trach II power plant

VN, including Vietcombank , VietinBank , BIDV , and Agribank . The capital is specifically earmarked for the construction of the Quang Trach II LNG-fired power plant, which is situated in Quang Tri province in central Vietnam.
The 1,500-megawatt facility represents a critical milestone in the national effort to expand power generation capacity. The newly secured loan from Vietcombank, VietinBank, BIDV, and Agribankcovers approximately 56% of the total funding requirement for the power plant project. According to current development plans, the Quang Trach II facility is scheduled to achieve full operational status by 2030.
