US Justice Department Deploys Election Monitors
The US Justice Department is deploying one thousand election monitors to all fifty states for historic oversight. Democrats criticize the plan as potential voter intimidation while officials cite voter access priorities.

The United States Department of Justice deployed 1,000 election monitors across all 50 states on Tuesday morning, marking the largest monitoring effort in the department's history. The deployment triples the observer count from the previous midterm election. More than two-thirds of the targeted jurisdictions supported Democrat Kamala Harris over Republican Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
