The aviation regulator for the United Kingdom has released a draft decision regarding the financial recovery of expansion costs for the nation's busiest airport. The Civil Aviation Authority announced on Monday that it would permit Heathrow Airport Limited to recoup up to £320 million ($433 million) for early expansion work conducted during 2025 and 2026.

The proposal is currently open for consultation, allowing stakeholders to provide feedback before a final determination is made. This development comes as the airport continues its long-term growth strategy.
