UK economy grew by 0.1 percent in final quarter of 2025
Official data released today shows the British economy expanded by 0.1 percent in the final quarter of 2025. This figure fell slightly short of forecasts.
The Office for National Statistics reported today, February 12, 2026, that the United Kingdom
GB gross domestic product grew by 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2025. This result was weaker than the 0.2% growth forecast by economists polled by Reuters and the Bank of England. In December alone, the UK economy also expanded by 0.1%.
