Tsingshan Unit Partners With NRZ
Tsingshans steel unit in Zimbabwe partnered with the national railway to expand coal and steel haulage. The deal includes funding for new track construction and infrastructure upgrades to boost freight volumes.

Tsingshan Holding Group's steelmaking unit in Zimbabwe partnered with the National Railways of Zimbabwe on Monday morning to haul 1.1 million metric tons of coal. The rail upgrade deal aims to expand freight capacity for the $1 billion steel plant that started production in 2024. The agreement shifts bulk traffic from road to rail, supporting the state rail firm's turnaround efforts.
