Switzerland's central bank posted a third-quarter profit of 19.1 billion Swiss francs ($23.13 billion) on Friday morning, driven by gains on gold and foreign currency holdings. The result compared with a 27.9 billion Swiss franc profit in the third quarter of 2025. Lower gold gains drove the year-over-year decline for the institution.
