Spain August Inflation Rises to 4.6 Percent
Spain reports its final EU-harmonised inflation rate rose to 4.6 percent in August. This is up from 3.9 percent in July and exceeds the initial analyst forecast of 4.5 percent.
Spain's 12-month EU-harmonised inflation rate rose to 4.6% in August, accelerating from 3.9% in the period through July. The final data released Tuesday by the National Statistics Institute exceeded the initial 4.5% flash estimate.
