SpaceX Talks to Acquire Boost Mobile

SpaceX is reportedly in talks with EchoStar to buy Boost Mobile or access its network. The move aims to build a hybrid satellite-terrestrial mobile network for Starlink.

SpaceX is in talks to acquire Boost Mobile or gain access to its wireless network in an $8 billion push into terrestrial telecommunications. The negotiations pit Elon Musk's aerospace firm against established telecom giants across the United States. Entering the retail wireless market gives SpaceX an existing subscriber base of 7.38 million users to build out its Starlink Mobile hybrid network.
