Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients in the United States will receive two payments in October due to a weekend calendar shift. The Social Security Administration announced that November SSI disbursements will arrive early on Friday, Oct. 30, following the regular Thursday, Oct. 1 distribution. The scheduling adjustment affects nearly 7.4 million SSI beneficiaries alongside 71 million overall Social Security recipients nationwide.
