Tatneft reports 48 percent drop in 2025 net profit
Russian oil producer Tatneft reported a 48.1 percent fall in its 2025 net profit to 158.62 billion roubles. Revenue for the year also declined by 10 percent.
The mid-sized oil producer PJSC Tatneft based in Russia reported a significant decline in its financial performance for the full year of 2025. According to the company's latest financial statement released on Thursday, net profit plummeted by 48.1% compared to the previous year, totaling 158.62 billion roubles, which equates to approximately $2 billion. In addition to the sharp drop in earnings, the company noted that its total revenue for 2025 decreased by 10% to 1.8 trillion roubles. These figures reflect the broader economic environment impacting the energy sector during the period. The financial results were calculated based on an exchange rate of 79.15 roubles per US dollar.
