Russia's VTB reports 8.9 percent drop in 2025 net profit

Russia's second-largest lender VTB saw its annual net profit decline to 502.1 billion roubles last year. Fourth-quarter earnings dropped over thirty percent.

VTB announced on February 25, 2026, that its net profit for the full year of 2025 fell 8.9% to 502.1 billion roubles. The bank, which is the second-largest lender in Russia RURU, also reported that its fourth-quarter net profit declined by 31.2% year-on-year to 121.3 billion roubles.
