Russia's aluminium giant Rusal reported a significant shift in its financial performance for 2025, swinging to a net loss as rising operational costs and a dip in production volumes offset revenue gains. The company, which is listed in Hong Kong and stands as the largest producer of the metal outside of China, recorded a net loss of $455 million for the fiscal year ending December 31. This result marks a sharp reversal from the $803 million net profit achieved in 2024.
