Revolut Wins Conditional US Bank Charter
British fintech Revolut has received conditional approval from the OCC for a U.S. national bank charter. The company plans to inject ninety-five million dollars into the new bank, aiming for a full launch by early 2027 with checking accounts and credit cards.

Revolut has received conditional approval from the United States Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for a national bank charter, committing $95 million in capital. The decision marks a major step in the fintech's push to launch a fully fledged American bank by 2027. Revolut currently serves 80 million customers worldwide and plans to base its new U.S. operations in Stamford, Connecticut.
