Quadria-backed Maxivision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals filed confidential draft papers for an IPO in India, according to a newspaper advertisement published on Friday afternoon. The offering includes a mix of newly issued shares and stock sold by existing investors. The eye-care chain moves to tap public markets as the domestic sector scales toward $31.2B by 2033.
The company appointed IIFL CAPITAL SERVICES LTD and ICICI Securities to manage the share sale, per previous reports from July. Founded in 1996, Maxivision operates over 90 centres across six states. It competes directly with chains including Dr. Agarwals Health Care, Centre for Sight, and ASG Eye Hospitals.
