Palm Beach County Closes Third Polling Site

Heavy rains and rising floodwaters forced election officials in Palm Beach County to relocate a third polling site. Voters were redirected to a nearby school as severe weather impacted midterm voting.

Cars stalled on Haverhill Road, just north of Okeechobee Blvd., after hours of heavy rain fell on November 1, 2026 in suburban West Palm Beach, Florida.

Palm Beach County officials closed three voting locations ahead of midday Tuesday following severe flood damage from torrential downpours. The closures disrupt midterm voting across the United States region as standing water blocks access to polling stations.
