Octopus Energy has formed a joint venture with China CNCNbased PCG Power to trade renewable energy in the region. The new joint venture is named Bitong Energy and marks the first entry into Chinafor Octopus Energy, which currently stands as the largest electricity supplier in Great Britain GBGBby market share. The announcement of the partnership coincided with an official state visit by Prime Minister Keir Starmer keir starmer.
