Novo Nordisk announced on Monday that its experimental obesity treatment CagriSema failed to meet the primary endpoint in a clinical trial designed to show the drug was non-inferior to Eli Lilly’s tirzepatide. Following the public announcement, shares in the company based in Denmark DKDK fell by approximately 8% by 09:46 GMT on February 23, 2026.
