NISSAN MOTOR CO LTD has announced a strategic initiative to streamline its global vehicle offerings, reducing its current lineup from 56 models to 45. This consolidation is part of a broader effort to optimize the company's portfolio while accelerating the integration of advanced technology. As part of its long-term vision, the automaker plans to deploy artificial intelligence driving technology across 90% of its global range. In a press release detailing its future objectives, the company stated its ambition to return to annual sales of 1 million vehicles in the United States by the 2030 financial year. This target represents a key pillar of its international growth strategy. Domestically, the manufacturer is focusing on expanding its footprint in Japan, where it aims to grow its annual sales volume to 550,000 cars by the same 2030 deadline.
