Incumbent Democrat Gabe Vasquez won a third term in the United States House of Representatives, securing 54.7% of the vote in New Mexico's 2nd Congressional District. The victory preserved a Democratic sweep across all three of the state's congressional seats following the November election. The outcome maintained Democratic representation in a closely contested district that has flipped parties three times over the past eight years.
