LA Voters Decide Between Mayor Bass and Raman
Los Angeles voters head to the polls to choose between incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and challenger Nithya Raman. The high-stakes election focuses heavily on homelessness, public safety, and housing policy across the city.

Los Angeles voters head to the polls on Tuesday, November 3, deciding whether to give Mayor Karen Bass a second term or elect progressive City Councilmember Nithya Raman. The contest follows a primary election where Bass secured 34% of the vote to Raman's 29%. A Bass defeat would mark the first time an incumbent Los Angeles mayor has lost an election since 2005.
