India shares closed the special Diwali session little changed on Sunday, pausing a rally driven by foreign inflows as limited exposure to AI insulated domestic stocks. The benchmark Nifty 50 fell 0.18% to 24,986.4 and the Sensex lost 0.04% to 80,999.4 following the one-hour trading window. Benchmarks had jumped more than 10% in the seven sessions up until Friday as a sharp decline in oil prices after the United States midterm elections boosted sentiment.
