Russian sunoil cargoes to India face delays and cuts
Attacks on Black Sea ports have disrupted Russian sunflower oil exports, causing cancellations and delays for shipments bound for India. The supply squeeze has prompted Indian buyers to increase palm oil purchases ahead of the upcoming festival season.
A 20,000-ton shipment of Russian sunflower oil destined for India was cancelled following Black Sea port strikes, tightening supply for the world's largest importer. Deliveries from Russia and Ukraine face severe disruptions and longer transit routes. Indian buyers have increased palm oil purchases from Indonesia and Malaysia to offset the shortfall.
