Millennium Management to Open Athens Office
Hedge fund Millennium Management plans to establish a presence in Athens to support Greeces growing asset management ecosystem. Greek officials welcomed the move as validation of the countrys expanding financial appeal.
Millennium Management will open an office in Athens during the autumn, adding a major multi-strategy player to the local financial ecosystem. The expansion follows talks between firm executives and government leaders in the capital. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and finance officials met with the firm's leadership to secure the footprint.
