Havas reports 2.5 percent revenue growth in first quarter
Havas reported today a 2.5 percent rise in first-quarter revenue to 638 million euros. Strong US performance helped the firm maintain its full-year outlook.
The France-based advertising firm HAVAS NV reported a 2.5% increase in net revenue for the first quarter, reaching 638 million euros. This performance, equivalent to approximately $753 million based on the EUR/USD exchange rate, was primarily propelled by a robust showing in the United States.
In North America, net revenue climbed to 230 million euros, representing organic growth of 7.4%. This expansion was fueled by several significant client acquisitions, which helped mitigate a downturn in the healthcare advertising sector. Meanwhile, the group's operations in Europe saw a more modest organic growth of 1.1%, with net revenue totaling 320 million euros.
