Trump Calls Abbott RINO After Texas Loss
President Donald Trump criticized outgoing Texas Governor Greg Abbott after a historic defeat to Democrat Gina Hinojosa. Abbott conceded the race following the election results.
Gina Hinojosa ousted incumbent Greg Abbott in the United States gubernatorial election, securing a historic win for state Democrats on November 3.
Hinojosa's victory marks the first time a Democrat has won the seat since 1990, alongside becoming the first Latina elected to the position. Abbott conceded after determining he had no path to victory, stating he leaves the state in improved shape following his tenure in Austin.
