The Government of Ghana GHGH has completed a 10 billion cedis interest payment, approximately $910 million, under the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme (DDEP). This settlement, finalized today, February 18, 2026, marks the sixth coupon payment since the restructuring began and the second to be paid fully in cash with no payment-in-kind component. The Ministry of Finance (Ghana) carried out the payment to reflect improved fiscal capacity and support financial-sector stability.
