European Leaders Back Zelenskiy Proposal for Peace Talks

Leaders from the United Kingdom, Germany, and France backed a proposal for direct ceasefire talks between Ukraine and Russia on Sunday afternoon, June 7. The E3 alliance met in London to discuss the proposal for dialogue between President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and President Vladimir Putin as the conflict enters its fifth year. The meeting occurred as the United States remains focused on tensions in Iran.
