The European Commission is preparing a package of financial relief measures to shield key industries from the economic fallout of the conflict in Iran. The draft proposal includes grants, subsidies, tax breaks, and loans specifically designed for the agriculture, fisheries, and transport sectors within the European Union. According to a document seen by Reuters, these temporary measures aim to cover up to 50% of the additional costs for fuel and fertilizer resulting from the regional crisis.
