New-car registrations across Europe rose 10.2% to 1.36 million vehicles in September, driven by strong demand for electrified models. The growth offset a steep drop in petrol and diesel vehicle sales, according to data released Thursday by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association. Electrified models now account for 76.2% of total new registrations across the European Union, United Kingdom and the European Free Trade Association.
