European Union Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maros Sefcovic has expressed confidence that the United States will uphold the terms of a bilateral trade agreement established last year. Speaking in Toronto, Sefcovic noted that his optimism stems from direct assurances provided by American officials regarding the stability of the pact.
I believe that the United States will honor the deal because this was the reassurance I got from my American partners.
