Economic analysts have revised their growth projections for Egypt downward as the ongoing conflict involving Iran continues to exert pressure on global energy markets and domestic inflation. According to a recent Reuters poll of 12 economists, the median estimate for gross domestic product (GDP) growth has been adjusted to 4.6% for the current fiscal year ending in June, with a similar rate expected next year before potentially rising to 5.5% by 2027/28.
