France Central Bank Chief Slams Far-Left Debt Plan
Bank of France chief Emmanuel Moulin warned that a far-left proposal to cancel a portion of the national debt violates treaties and risks economic default. European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde also rejected the plan, cautioning that creditors would punish the move.
